This term Holly Class have been welcoming 22 new children into Reception. Holly Class is now made up of 4 Y1 children and 22 YR children.

By the October half-term the new children have settled in well and now stay full days and are learning all about our class rules (Kind feet, kind hands, kind words). The role of 'Star of the Day' is now well established as children are chosen if they have been particularly kind, tried particularly hard or achieved something for the first time.
The first half of the Autumn term includes our Harvest Festival service at St Peter's church. As part of our Knowledge and Understanding of the World, we enjoy 'Welly Walks'. This provides excellent opportunities for observing and examining the world around us, as the seasons change.
