We are a Voluntary Controlled
Church of England school serving the local community
of Evercreech and beyond. The staff and governors aim
to provide a happy, caring and well-organised environment
in which each child feels secure and valued as an individual.
Teaching and non-teaching staff work together to create
relaxed and pleasant surroundings in which children
are actively encouraged to realise their full potential
and give their best. Achievement at all levels throughout
the curriculum is valued and recognised; good behaviour
and a sense of personal and social responsibility are
clearly promoted and expected. Particular importance
is attached to the acquisition of basic skills and understanding
in English, Mathematics and Science, but careful monitoring
also ensures that the curriculum remains broad and balanced.
Comprehensive curriculum documentation guarantees continuity
and progression and reflects the hard work and commitment
of staff and governors. Most of all we see learning
as a partnership between family and school which enriches
and benefits each child during their time with us.
Please do not hesitate
to contact me should you require any further information
about the school.
