Hello and welcome to Sycamore Class' web page!
 Sycamore
Class is made up of Year 3 and 4 and I am their teacher,
Mrs. Jefferies. In our class we like to work hard and
enjoy learning new things and sharing our knowledge.
We enjoy all our subjects and particularly like ICT,
art, music, PE and Circle Time.
This term we are learning about mountains. The children
are trying hard to do some of the work the Year sixes
have done in this in the past, and as I taught Year
6 in our school over the last four years, the children
know I have high expectations of their work and learning!
We
are very lucky in our class as we have Mrs. Lester and
Mrs. Evenden to help us with our work as well as Mrs.
Cox, Ms. Lifely, Mr. Kessel, Mrs. Hicks, Mrs. McCaul and
other teachers and volunteers from our village community
who pop in and help individual children, groups of children
or the whole class.
Our
homework consists of reading, spellings and tables every
week, which we can work on every night. We may also be
asked to complete work ready for the next science lesson,
or geography lesson. There will also be a piece of English
and Mathematics to complete from time to time to help
us show our parents what we have been learning and to
help us get better.
