We have been learning about the Great Fire of London. We have looked at how it started, why the houses burned so quickly and what they used to try to put out the fire. We re-enacted and imagined what it would have been like passing buckets of water from the River Thames to the burning houses. We have also looked at how we know about the past by using different sources and the significance of Samuel Pepys' diary.
