Year 2 had an unforgettable day out at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm Park where they deepened their learning about habitats and African animals in the most exciting way—seeing them up close!
As part of our topic on Kenya and African wildlife, the children explored the zoo’s wide range of animals and environments, from the African savanna to rainforest and grassland habitats. They were amazed to spot some of the animals they’ve been learning about in class, including lions, giraffes, zebras, rhinos and elephants.
It was a brilliant opportunity to bring classroom learning to life. Seeing real animals and their enclosures helped the children make meaningful connections to their studies on the savanna, the Maasai tribe, and Kenya's National Parks.
With lots of walking, exploring, and plenty of animal spotting, it was a fun-filled and educational day that we’re sure the children will remember for a long time!
