Science Week - March 2025

The children made a &#39;pattern&#39; with the sweets and added warm water. Some of the children thought the sweets would &#39;melt&#39; - dissolve. We were very excited to see how the colours made patterns, especially when we wobbled the plate. We were quite surprised to see that the running colours didn&#39;t seem to mix as we had expected, it was only when we stirred with our fingers that they all mixed together. New language - dissolve, solid, liquid, rainbow, pattern, melt
