In PE, Year 2 children focused on developing their fundamental movement skills, including throwing, catching, balancing, and coordinating their movements. They worked on improving their control, agility, and teamwork through a variety of games and activities.
Children also had the opportunity to take part in a dodgeball tournament with Year 1, putting their skills into practice while learning to work collaboratively, follow rules, and show good sportsmanship.
Additionally, children visited Ansford, where they took part in a range of sports such as badminton, netball, tag rugby and more. These experiences helped children build confidence, improve coordination, and develop a love of being active.
