Science Week - March 2025

The children made a 'pattern' with the sweets and added warm water. Some of the children thought the sweets would 'melt' - dissolve. We were very excited to see how the colours made patterns, especially when we wobbled the plate. We were quite surprised to see that the running colours didn't seem to mix as we had expected, it was only when we stirred with our fingers that they all mixed together. New language - dissolve, solid, liquid, rainbow, pattern, melt
