We kicked off science week with a visit from the wonderful Explorer Dome.  Each class had the opportunity to go inside the dome and experience a range of scientific workshops.  During the week, the children in every class carried out a practical investigation, which they presented to parents on Friday afternoon.  We had rocket mice, beautifully detailed displays of lifecycles, paper cup and string phones, a water tension experiment to see how many drops of water could be applied to a coin, a scaled fruit solar system and more!
