As a 'Mental Health School' we take pride in supporting the wellbeing and development of our children.  We are fortunate to have two ELSA Practitioners and a Senior Mental Health Lead at our school.

Our school prioritises pupils’ emotional wellbeing as a foundation for successful learning. A strong culture of care and nurture ensures that children feel safe, valued and understood. Staff build positive relationships and explicitly teach strategies for self-regulation, emotional literacy and resilience through PSHE, pastoral support and daily classroom practice.

Targeted interventions and flexible support systems help pupils manage anxiety, build self-esteem and develop coping strategies, ensuring that all children, including the most vulnerable, can engage successfully in school life to enable them to become confident, self-aware learners.
