Our Breakfast and After School Club (BASC) was established in November 2013. Since then, the club has continued to grow as demand from families has increased. We aim to provide flexible wraparound care that works for busy families, with a range of booking options available. Wherever possible, we also work around school clubs and can often accommodate last-minute bookings.
Breakfast Club gives children the opportunity to start their day with a filling and healthy meal in a relaxed environment before school begins. Children can choose from a range of options including cereals, toast, fruit and yogurts. We always try to offer something that every child will enjoy, and we are happy to cater for special dietary requirements with advance notice.
After School Club runs from the end of the school day at 3.15pm. Each class teacher receives a list of children who are booked in that day, and members of the ASC team collect the children directly from their classrooms. We also support children who attend extra-curricular activities at school, collecting them from clubs or taking them to sessions that begin later.
Children attending After School Club are offered a light snack and a drink during the session, usually including options such as fruit, vegetables or wraps. If you prefer, you are very welcome to provide your child with a packed tea.
From 1st January 2026, all BASC bookings will be made through ParentMail. Similar to ordering hot lunches, you will find BASC bookings in the “Accounts” section of ParentMail (Instructions on how to book using ParentMail)

Booking information
We have 15 spaces available for both our Breakfast Club and After School Club. To help make the booking process fair for everyone, including families who pay using childcare vouchers or Government Tax-Free Childcare as well as those who pay instantly, bookings for both clubs will be released each half term.
Our clubs are very popular, and spaces can fill up quickly, so we recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

The “Pay Later” option is only available for families paying through a childcare voucher scheme or Government Tax-Free Childcare. If you are paying directly, payment must be made at the time of booking.
If you are paying using childcare vouchers, please make the payment as soon as you complete your booking so we can process it promptly. Once payment has been made, please contact the school office. We will then clear the payment on ParentMail once the funds have been received in the school’s bank account.
Please note that persistent non-payment may result in your child’s space being withdrawn, as the school is unable to carry any parental debt.
Full details can be found in the attached Terms and Conditions, which apply to all BASC bookings.
If you have any questions, please contact the school office and we will be happy to help.
